On the 23rd of December 2015 a historic law was passed in the Hellenic capitol legalizing civil partnerships between gay couples. Greece is the last country to legalize civil unions for gay couples in Europe. 

We followed two LGBTQ Activists who marked the occasion by dressing up as priests and kissing in front of the largest Cathedral in Athens.

As the couple kissed, some passers-by that oppose the recognition of Gay Civil Unions clashed with the activists.
